Thank you Mark for your work and your compassion for people. Not too many folks with your amount of success would subject themselves to this daily emotional ride. It must be difficult to see what is happening to the ones who have lost thierselves because of the actions of others. It shows how much you care about the people who you are building these relationships with.
This must affect your mental status in some ways. It is an overwhelming situation and most people feel the problem is too big to tackle. I mean what can one man or woman do......Well Mark is doing that thing that can make changes and wake people up to the truth.
For those who really want change you are showing them that it is possible. For the ones who are not ready or incapable of making changes to better their situation,You show them that they do matter and some people do care about them. Also showing people who feel alone because they feel a certain way or choose to live their true self that they are not alone. Breaking down stereotypes and showing people's realities. Your work is amazing
A homeless person once told me he felt so alone because no one would even acknowledge his existence because it was eaiser to just walk by and ignore him . He said he felt invisible. He would talk to himself out loud because no one else would even look at him or speak to him. He did not even feel human anymore.
Thank you Mark for giving these people a voice and showing the world that someone can look scary on the outside and have the biggest heart inside. Keep up the good work. I feel your work is destined to make big changes in our society.
It is obvious you are not in this for the fame but In my opinion you should win a Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Peace Prize for your work. Thank you so much for all you do .Shannon
